St Paul's Singers
4pm Anticipatory Mass
The St Paul’s Singers is a volunteer choir open to anyone with a desire to sing and to support the parish’s worship through music. No previous musical experience is required — only a willingness to participate and a love for the liturgy.
The choir leads the sung parts of the 4.00pm Saturday Vigil Mass and meets thirty minutes before Mass for a relaxed warm-up and a brief run-through of the hymns and responses. This creates an enjoyable, supportive, and non-judgemental environment in which parishioners can grow in confidence and musical skill over time.
St Paul’s Singers exists to serve the prayer of the parish, not to perform. It is an opportunity to take an active role in the Church’s worship and to experience, in a very practical way, the truth of St Augustine’s words: “Whoever sings prays twice.”
Those interested in joining, or simply learning more, are warmly encouraged to get in touch with the St Paul's Singers Coordinator, Matt Ferri, who will be happy to answer any questions.
