Choristers

St Paul’s is currently exploring the development of a chorister programme for children in Grades 3–8. This initiative forms part of a broader effort to strengthen the musical life of the parish’s liturgy.

Drawing inspiration from the cathedral and abbey choir schools of Europe, such a programme would give children the opportunity for structured instruction in singing and musicianship while serving an integral role in the parish’s liturgy. At this stage, the parish is discerning how such a programme might take shape locally while laying the foundations for a fully developed chorister tradition in the years ahead.

Chorister Taster Day

Saturday March 21st, 2026

11am - 5pm

Does your child love to sing? Chorister Taster Day at St Paul’s Church offers children in 3rd–8th grade a joyful introduction to the life of a church chorister.

Throughout the day, children will explore healthy vocal technique, learn the basics of music theory, and discover how sacred music plays a vital role in the liturgy. The day culminates in singing beautiful music at the 4:00 PM Mass, giving participants a true taste of the chorister experience.

Above all, Chorister Taster Day is designed to be fun, welcoming, and enriching—a chance to make new friends, grow musically, and encounter something deeper through music and worship.

For further information about the day, please contact the Organist & Master of the Choristers, Mr Maks Adach (music@stpaulgreenwich.org)
